Competitions on “ Best out of waste”

As every weekend Tekhnix organizes different competitions on various topics. This Saturday we had organized competition called “ Best out of waste”. In this, student have to collect all kind of waste material and by using it they will have to make some useful thing. They were allowed to participate in the competition individually or in group and they were given two hours time and by this time they will have to finish their work. Winner will be selected based on their creativity, concept, use of waste material, finishing of work etc. In this competition students get chance to learn how to use such material and to get their best use out of it.

The winner of the competition are as below,

First winner :

Group-1 ( Included students of Batch-B)

( Pankaj Vaghela, Karansinh Parmar, Dipen Majmundar, Anandraj Dave, Kintan Patel)

They had made Fish and Photo frame. To make fish they had used pipes, used in medical purpose for saline. Second thing which they made was “Photo frame” created out of hard board, silver foil paper, resin etc.





Second winner :

Group-2 (Included students of Batch-A)

Uday Jataniya & Sneha Sodha

They are the students pursuing Specialization in Dynamics,so they had decided to make a game called “Jumping Monkey”, which followed the dynamics effects like gravity and force. To make this game they had used the material like waste box, plastic broom sticks, clips from box, etc. First they had made one tree out of the box then, according to proportion they prepared small monkeys, using ruff materials of the same, then they started to make “Catapult” (A catapult is a device used to throw or hurl a projectile a great distance without the aid of explosive devices). In this game,one has to throw the catapult on the tree by proper judgment of force.



Third winner :

Group-3 (He was an individual Candidate)

Narendra Singh

He had decided to make a pen stand and for that he had used waste materials like ruff news paper, glue, a thick coat made of flour,
