"Speed Modeling" Competition

Speed Modeling Contests are competitions using Maya software. There is always a topic and time limit and in that, student's have to create 3D Model in the allotted time limit. Although the spirit of the contest is to have fun, and improve your skill with 3d graphics, the outcome of the contest is often voted on to determine a winner.

The time artists may begin modeling, and the time allowed for users to finish and upload their entry (this can vary from hours to days). After the SMC begins, an artist generally has only until the specified deadline to complete, render and upload their entry to a server (usually in the form of a static image). Often, to keep things fair, a moderator is asked to moderate and disqualify entries that are uploaded after the deadline.

In this particular competition a Sniper Gun's Reference was given to the student 's and they were asked to complete this model within the specified time limit ie around 1 hour.

The reference of this image were as follows.

And the winner of this Competition was "Chandan Goswami" who not only did a very fabulous job completing the model but also completed this model within the given time period.
